Pin It Good Morning!!  How are you all doing today?  Today is my design team day at Decorate to Celebrate.
This week's challenge is #25- All About Dad.  It's time to make those party decorations and gifts for Dad and/or that special man in your life.  For my husband, I have made a special gift treat box that will be filled with dark chocolate (his favorite).  I also etched a beer glass with his favorite team's emblem (Notre Dame)....and of course he LOVES beer.  I used my svg program/inkscape to create the emblem and cut it out with my cricut on vinyl.  I then used the negative part of the cut vinyl and put on the glass- and used etching cream on the positive space.  This was hard to photograph as the etching doesn't show up in pictures that well.  I know he will love the surprises for our Father's Day Party/Dinner.  I hope that you decide to get a head start on your creations and play along.....

Supplies Used:
Cardstock/Patterned Paper
Vinyl
Etching Cream
Glitter/Pop Dots/wooden stick
TBBM2 Cartridge (Shirt Box cut at 11.75, Father's Day cut at 3")
SVG File (for Notre Dame Shamrock)

Guest Design Post- Happy Mother's Day

Pin It Good Morning Everyone!!  Sorry I have been MIA lately- but life is getting in the way of my crafting and I am having a hard time keeping up.  Anyway, today I am honored to have been asked to do a guest design post for Karen at Little Scrap Pieces for her Fun Friday Challenge.  The challenge is to make a Mother's Day project/card.  I have created a treat container (tea cup) that also serves as the bow on my mom's present (which also serves as the table for the tea cup).  I used the new TBBM2 cartridge- I LOVE THIS cartridge!!!  So many cute boxes and ideas I now have from it.  Although I did have to update my gypsy and it took forever- but finally was able to load it on.  Here is my project and I hope that you will decide to link up your Mother's Day things this week!!

I am also entering this in the following challenges:

Supplies Used:
Cardstock/Patterned Paper
Pink Trim/Ribbon/Rhinestones
MS Lattice Deep Edge Punch
Misc Clear Stamp for sentiment
Elegant Edges Cartridge (Doily cut at 5", Sign & Shadow cut at 2.5")

Pin It Good Morning Everyone!!  Today is my design team day at Decorate to Celebrate!  The challenge this week is Graduation Party.  I decided to make a graduation banner to decorate for a grad party.  I used several cartridges, fancy paper and my sewing machine for a zig zag border.  This was unbelievably hard to photograph.  It is rather large, so I had a hard time fitting it in the picture, and the shiny/glittery paper was difficult as well.  Thanks for visiting today, and I hope that you decide to play along with the challenge!!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock
Glitter Patterned Paper
Metallic Green Paper
Star Brads/Green Thread/Green Satin Ribbon
Tie The Knot Cartridge (Banner cut at 5"; Monogram letters cut at 3")
Wild Card Cartridge (Cap cut at 3", diploma cut at 5")
